Trivia time! In honor of our informational meeting tonight, we bring a challenging question this week! ASE west will open in 2026-27 at a smaller grade group than our ASE East, expanding by 1 grade per year until it runs a full Pre-K through 12th grade. What grades will ASE West be opening with to start? Not sure? Come back at noon for the answer!

It's almost time for our spring formal! This Friday, students can dance the night away and enjoy some fun! Middle School will be from 5pm - 7pm while High School will follow up from 7pm - 8:30pm. Admission is $10 and includes food and drinks!

TONIGHT! We invite our secondary families to the cafeteria to discuss with our counselors and security a difficult yet important topic for parents to approach. Hear from our counselors about how to talk to your kids about self-harm and what to do. Opportunities for questions and refreshments will be provided as well.

ITS HERE! One of our most engaging annual science events is BACK! Enjoy some science experiments and activities suitable for the whole family right here at ASE's mid/high cafeteria TONIGHT at 6-7:30pm. From aerodynamics to hydrology, Explora has brought a wide array of projects to interact with every year, and we are beyond excited to see what's available to do this year! For absolutely free, you can dive into science with your student today - no joke about it!

If you guessed 'D. Nukumori' for our House Trivia question... You're correct! While it is an official RCA house, it is not one at ASE. Instead, our competition is between Altruismo, Amistad, Isibindi, and Rêveur! Our bonus question - Which house was not listed - was Amistad!

Happy Tuesday! We're bringing back our trivia! Today let's test what you know about our mid/high house system! Each year our new students are sorted and welcomed to their RCA house, in which they regularly work collaboratively and competitively to engage with the community and build strong connections through events, activities, and competition alike. This year, the house with the most points will earn a field trip to Cliff's Amusement Park! Our students have been working hard to keep their house points up! But with how hard they work, how much do you know?
ASE has four houses students are sorted into. Which one of these four is NOT a house at ASE? Bonus points if you can name what the house that's missing is as well!

Explora is coming to ASE for our annual Sandia Family Science Night TOMORROW!! Come by the Mid/High cafeteria from 6-7:30 for some family-friendly science experiments to work your brain! There's experiments for people of all ages to explore and collaborate on and enjoy, so bring the entire family! We're beyond excited to have you and experience a taste of Explora science museum right here at ASE!

On Friday, some of our fourth grade students attended the Crawford Symposium. They presented what they have learned through their involvement with the Bosque Environmental Monitoring Program (BEMP). Fourth grade students go to the Bosque twice a year to collect water table levels measurement data, precipitation measurement data, and litter fall data. This is then shared with UNM and analyzed to determine the health of the Bosque.
A big thanks to Aya, Grayson, Alyssa, Brynlee, Cambrian, Layla, Sara, and Jace for participating and presenting what you learned! We're sure UNM and the Bosque itself will appreciate your hard work!

Still planning lunches for the week? This week we've got some yummy entree options, including tostadas, chicken enchiladas, Salisbury steak, Papa John's pizza, and chicken salad sandwiches. The first lunch is always free!

Our high schoolers in National Honors Society are still accepting donations for their food drive! Non-perishable canned, jarred, or boxed goods are a constant need - make a difference by bringing in supplies to donate this week! Each donation is worth a house point, and the homeroom with the most house points will earn a pizza party!

Next week is our annual Sandia Family Science Night by Explora! Join us on April 1st in the mid/high cafeteria at 6:00pm for some family fun hands-on science experiments and learning! All ages are welcome to explore science in a fresh, new way!
