Dear Parents and Guardians,
The Albuquerque School of Excellence (ASE) Information Technology (IT) Department will be retrieving all assigned CTL Chromebooks for grades 5 through 12. The dates for the retrieval process are scheduled for Monday, May 19, 2025 through Friday, May 23, 2025. A detailed schedule by grade level will be provided in a follow-up email.
All students need to bring the CTL Chromebook and the AC Adapter (charger). The intent is to perform maintenance on the CTL Chromebooks and re-issue the same CTL Chromebook to the students for the next school year.
If a CTL Chromebook is not returned then the student will be financially responsible for the Chromebook. The cost of the CTL Chromebook is $389.00. The student will be invoiced for the non-returned CTL Chromebook. Student records may not be released until the replacement process has been fully completed. If the AC Adapter is not returned the replacement cost will be $22.80.
During the return of the CTL Chromebooks the device will be inspected and any damages to the CTL Chromebook will be subject to the Chromebook Repair & Replacement Costs policy. The policy is available on the school website at https://www.abqse.org/page/internet-safety-policy-and-chromebooks.
